Welcome to the PTA
Welcome to the PTA page of the Wyken Croft website. I hope you will enjoy looking through the photographs of the events we have held and the equipment and resources we have purchased for the school.
As a charity we are dedicated to raising money so we can provide that ‘little bit extra’ for the children and school. This would not be possible without the hard work of volunteer adults and children.
I joined the PTA two years ago because I wanted to help improve my children’s school experience. After the first year I became chairperson of the committee who are at the heart of the PTA.
The committee is a dedicated team of parents and teachers who work tirelessly to run events for the children and families of the school to raise money for school projects. This would not be possible without the help of a larger group of parents, friends and family members.
Being part of the PTA does not mean you have to attend every meeting or help at every event. It may be that you have a talent, business or new fundraising idea that we could utilise or offers of help on an ‘as and when you can’ basis would be wonderful!
